Maria P. Limon

Maria “Yaya” P. Limon, age 89, passed away May 20, 2021. She was born on July 27, 1931 to Jose Vasquez and Guadalupe Ybarra in McAllen, TX. She was raised in McAllen, TX and went on to marry her husband, Jesus E. Limon.

Maria P. Limon enjoyed reading, watching her favorite TV shows, and visiting with family. She resided in Corpus Christi, TX where was she called home peacefully surrounded by family. Maria will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. she will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Maria P. Limon is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Vasquez and Guadalupe Ybarra; her husband, Jesus E. Limon and son, Gilbert Limon.

She is survived by her daughters, Diana Moreno, Janie Zamora (Pete); son, Albino Limon; grandchildren, Jessica Martinez, Juan JR III Martinez, Diana Laura Colter (Paul), Pete Zamora Jr., Christopher Zamora, Anthony Zamora, Jesse (Gabrielle Limon) Dina; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Cynthia Alexis, Ruben, Isaiah, Amber, David, Vivi, Diana Marie; great-great-grandchildren, Audrina, Lucas, Jace, Jesse, Jay, Lilly and JJ.

A special thank you to the nurses at AADI. Your kindness, love and compassion was greatly appreciated.

A Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 9:30 am followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Inurnment will be after Mass at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
