Maria Guadalupe Mata, 89, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born September 10, 1923 in San Benito, Texas to Alfredo and Cecilia Ramos. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clemente Mata; sister, Amelia Rodriguez; brother, Pancho Garcia and her parents. She is survived by her children: Maria Diana Herrera (Juan), Olga Ochoa (Eddie), Oralia Montes (Ike), Jesus Mata (Jesusa), Juan Mata, Clemente Mata Jr. (Norma) and Robert Mata (Jo Ann); along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm. To 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with a prayer service to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery
