Thank you Gramma for being an example of love, laughter and prayer. You always took care of each one of your kids. GranKids and all... you stood for prayer.. remembered each one of us by name. We were important to you and you let us know.

May you enjoy the embrace of love of our God today and that we will daily strive to be the example in our lives like you did for 103 yrs.

We will miss you and your words. But mostly your tamales. And your hugs.

Love you always,

Your grandson

This beautiful and caring lady is now in Heaven. My Tia Maria was a Special lady that always put her faith in God, in first place.
My special memory of her was that she never made a promise she wouldn't keep.
When my husband Joe passed twelve years ago, she had made him a promise. We had visited her in Corpus and we asked her if she still made tamales. She responded, of course I do. So he asked her in a joke fashion. When will you make some for me.? She replied, how about Christmas time?
This visit was around early November. Well, my husband had a heart attack on December 15th shortly after our visit.
My Tia Maria made good with her promise and brought her tamales to my husband's funeral services in San Antonio.
My Tia Maria was a rare gem that lived life to the fullest. She will be dearly missed and I will always cherish her prayers and special blessings. May she RIP.😘
