She is preceded in death by her loving husband Elijio Rivera, son Elijio Rivera, JR., and daughters Susie Tapia and Mary Reyes.
Maria leaves behind to cherish her memories daughters Ester (Noe) Ruiz and Maria “Mona” (Roland) Avalos; sons Greg (Gloria) Rivera, Joe Rivera, and Eddie (Esther) Rivera; 29 grandchildren, and 59 great grand-children.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Chapel, 3442 Holly Rd, with a Public Talk at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 10:00 am at Funeraria del Angel Chapel with a burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
