Maria Delia Sandoval

Delia was born on December 9, 1948 in Corpus Christi, TX to Bonifacio and Dolores Garza. She passed away on June 5, 2023 at the age of 74. Delia was a 1968 graduate of Roy Miller High School. Delia married the love of her life, David R. Sandoval and spent 51 years together. Delia not only raised her children and grandchildren, but also her brother and sisters who have always been close to her. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister.

Delia is preceded in death by her above mentioned parents and husband and is survived by her 3 children, David (Heather) Sandoval Jr., Maria Hermelinda and Sandra Lee Sandoval; 5 grandchildren, Andrew and Andrea Sandoval, Adrian Gonzalez, Lori and Desiree Rosas; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Homer (Mary) Garza, Jesse (Ignacia) Garza, Dolores (Raymond) Olivarez and Magdalena (Ray) Arellano. Delia also leaves behind many loving nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and neighbors.

We wish to give a special thanks to her caring and loving neighbor, Mary Helen Stevenson for caring for our beloved mother and sister in her hours of need. Delia will be truly missed.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd., on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.

Funeral Services will be held at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd., on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park, 4357 Ocean Dr.
