Maria A. “Toni” Sweat passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side on May 18, 2010 at the age of 53. Toni was loved by her family, friends and co-workers at ACS, Inc. and Lonestar Overnight Couriers. Toni touched so many lives that she left everyone to cherish the enrichment of love and friendship to be engraved in all their hearts. She will continue to be cherished by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Aurora Cavazos.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Charles R. Sweat; sister, Blanca (Johnny) Silvas; niece, Jessica Silvas and her nephew, Johnathan Silvas. She is also survived by her many dear friends and family.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 2:00 to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited that same evening at 7:00 pm. at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
