Maria Garza Vallejo

Maria Garza Vallejo passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on September 28, 1936, in San Benito, Texas, Maria was a proud daughter of her community. She was raised with strong values of faith, family, and resilience—qualities that would define her life and the legacy she leaves behind.

Maria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose E. Vallejo, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion. She is also reunited in eternal rest with cherished family members: Aurora G. Porter, Adan Garza, Esmerald G. Martinez, Guillermo Garza, Berta G. Pena, Ofelia G. Markovich, Francisco S. Garza, and Manuela Cantu Garza.

Left to cherish her precious memory are her loving children: Orlando Vallejo, Diana Romo (and her husband, Rene Romo), Michael Vallejo, and David Vallejo. She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy to her later years.
