Marilyn Ann Bankhead, age 74, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. Marilyn was born October 9, 1947, in Queens, New York, to James Moe and Marion Marquette Moe. She was raised in Astoria, NY.
Marilyn will always be remembered for her tremendous love for her grandchildren, her big New York personality, and and her kindness, she would give anyone the shirt off her back.
She is preceded in death by her parents Marion and James Moe, husband Kenneth Bankhead, and aunt Madelyn Lennon.
Marilyn is survived by her children: Nicole Bankhead, Mellisa Smith, Dawn Bankhead (Allen Parker), and Christopher Crowley (Erin McGinnis); nine grandchildren: Miranda Garza, Nathaniel Crowley, Thomas Crowley, Lane Limones, Anastasia Smith, Amaris Limones, Taj Crowley, Kiernan Bankhead, Zachary Crowley; one great-grandchild, Isaiah Crowley;
Brother, James Moe (Carol Moe); Nephews: James Moe (Little Jimmy), Jason Moe, and Justin Moe.
Services are entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel-Everhart, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78411.
Holy Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2233 Waldron Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78418 with Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. followed by Interment at 11:30 a.m. at Seaside Funeral Home, 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78412.
