She was born on July 19, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Merrell and Josephine May Gaines.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Smokey and Merrell Gaines.
Dee leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, one daughter, Angelique Armstrong of Spring, Texas; one son, Chris (Heidi) Hamilton of Corpus Christi; five grandchildren; one sister, Gretchen Gaines of Silver Springs, Maryland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
