Martha P. Montoya

Our beloved mother, Martha Montoya, left our side on December 7, 2010 to be with our Lord in heaven surrounded by her family at her bedside, at the age of 96.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Montoya and son Joe Montoya, grandson Ray Anthony Salazar and granddaughter, Debra Garza.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Frances Salazar (Roy), son, Robert P. Montoya (Carolina) and daughter –in-law Dolores Montoya; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; her survivors include two sisters and two brothers.

Martha was an active member until her illness in Catholic Daughters Court 1935 and was also a member of the Ladies Lulac Council.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Joey Montoya, Jordon Salazar, Mason Salazar, Alex Calvillo, Mikey Florez, Gavin Monroe and James Gannon.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2010 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
