Marvin Edward Blissit

Marvin is predeceased by his parents Charley North and Rosa Lee, siblings Howard and Linda, and also, Grandparents.

Marvin is survived by his brother Chuck Blissit (Johanna), his sister Deborah Spearing, sister in law Paula Blissit, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Marvin was born in Corpus Christi, TX on April 23, 1954. He graduated from King High School and went on to join the United State Army, serving in Germany. Later on, Marvin obtained a Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, Clear Lake.

Marvin was a kind soul, free spirit; with a great sense of humor and a great laugh. He was a fisherman of men. He will be missed immensely by his family.

The visitation will be held at Memory Gardens, on Sunday, Aug. 25th from 4-8 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. on Monday, August 26, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with Rabbi Mary Ekroos officiating. Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. A reception/wake will take place at Church of Acts, 3811 Carroll Ln, following interment.
