Mary W. Aguilera

Mary W. Aguilera, age 76, met her Lord and Savior unexpectedly on Friday, December 12, 2014, in Corpus Christi, Texas with her family by her side. Mary was born on January 14, 1938, in Glasgow, Scotland to Hilda and Charles Donnachie.

On December 13, 1958, Mary married the love of her life, Pedro; they have two children, Steven and Donna. She was also survived by her son-in-law Darrell Kiss, 5 grandchildren: Jenifer & Charles Lassiter, Ryan Kiss, Andrew & Amanda Kiss, Taylor & Jefferson Bishop, and Jordan Aguilera. Mary also had 3 great-granddaughters, the joy of her heart, Harley Lassiter, Layla Bishop, and Abigail Kiss. Mary also has one brother who resides in Wales, Joseph and Mary Donnachie along with two nieces and a nephew.

Over the next 56 years, Mary supported Pedro’s military career as the family moved from England to the United States, all while taking care of her family and keeping her household in line. She was a devoted loving wife and mother who enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and of course her bingo. We would like to acknowledge her best friend of 73 years, Ann and Joseph Boardman as well as her cousin Mary and Gifford Batstone who loved her like a mother.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at the Cage Mills Funeral Home.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in honor of Mary to the Paralyzed Veterans of America Texas Chapter at 2656 South Loop West, Suite 130, Houston, TX.
