Mary P. Espinoza

Mary P. Espinoza, 75, went home to our good Lord on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. She worked as a nurse for over 40 years. She was a hard worker that cared for some of the most vulnerable patients. She was devoted, not only to caring for her patients, but lifting up their spirits and made a difference in so many people’s lives.

Mary enjoyed playing Bingo and Gambling at the casinos. She will always be remembered for her outspoken personality, contagious laugh and beautiful smile.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Luisa Peña; father of her children, Eliseo Espinoza, Jr. and nephew, Armando Peña.

She is survived by her children: Oscar Peña, Eliseo Espinoza III, Irma Espinoza and Sandra E. Luera (Danny). She will be missed by her grandchildren: Jonathon D. Peña, Alexis Garcia (Espinoza), Daniel C. Garza, Jr., Robert A. Rocha, Alissa M. Espinoza, Eliseo Espinoza, IV, Hillary P. Peña, Kaeli B. Rosales and Loralei L. Luera. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren. Mary leaves behind her siblings: Alberto, Ralph, Gregorio, Serapio, and Hector Peña, Amanda Garza, Marylou Perez, and Rafaela Galvan, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 1:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
