Melissa Martinez

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Elida Cantu; paternal grandparents, Secundino and Clara Martinez; her father, Cristoval Martinez and sunts, Frances Pulido, Gracie Garza and Norma L. Baca.

She worked in numerous nursing homes throughout Corpus Christi. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and a friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters: Brittany Marie Carreon, Brianna Monique Platz and Krysten Starr Maldonado; mother and stepfather, Sylvia and Alfredo Martinez; her loving grandchildren: E’sabella Marie Carreon, Ja’dynn Alonzo Carreon and La’Vaya Mystt Gonzalez; her sisters: Veronica (Rod) and Rita (Chris) and her brothers, Michael and Chris Jr. Martinez; nieces: Marissa and Lexy; nephews: Eric Alexander and Isaac. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Services to conclude at the church.
