Michael Andrew Ornelas

Michael Andrew Ornelas, age 29, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, after battling a rare brain cancer for over a year, in the end covid-19 tragically took his young life . Michael was born February 1, 1992. Michael was always a hard worker and born leader. He walked into a room and everyone looked to him for the answers. He worked at Wendy's and Whataburger, where he met his future wife. Finally ending up in the refinery, where he eventually became a pipe fitter. He thrived at his new profession and enjoyed providing for his family. He was good at fixing problems. He enjoyed fixing cars, fishing, guns, movies, and music. He spent most of his time with his family and was a loving father. He is survived by his wife, Chanel Segura and his three children Gabriel Segura 13, Phoenix Ornelas 6, and Aria Ornelas 2. Also his mother Christina Ornelas, his father Adam Valdez, sister Catherine and brother Adam Michael. His maternal grandmother Rosalinda Rodarte, his paternal grandfather Adam Valdez sr. and many aunt's, uncle's, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Michael was very loved and will be greatly missed. He was one of a kind and tragically was taken too soon. One day we will be with him again.

Services will be at Funeraria del Angel- Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road Corpus Christi Texas 78415 September 8th, 7pm
