Michelle Marie Hinojosa (Guzman) was born on November 9, 1970, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth. Michelle's journey ended on January 29, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas.
Michelle leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family. She is survived by her son, Salvador Arteaga III and daughter, Richelle Marie Hernandez and their families. Michelle adored her four grandchildren - Jaslyn, Salvador IV, Elian & Enzo - and cherished every moment spent with them. Michelle always mentioned that her grandchildren are the joy of her life and kept her going through her sickness. Her memories will live on by her family members: Mother, Mary Sanchez; sister, Edna Castillo; brothers, Feliciano Hinojosa Jr., James Hinojosa, Gene A. Hinojosa, John Paul Hinojosa, Joe R. Hinojosa, Gilbert Trevino, Shawn Sanchez, Samuel Sanchez, Matthew Sanchez.
Her presence brought joy to those around her as she embraced life wholeheartedly. Whether it was enjoying amusement parks or simply watching a movie at home with loved ones, Michelle found happiness in the simple moments shared with family. A people person through and through; she had an infectious spirit that drew others close to her heart. Her phone calls were filled with laughter and stories as she connected deeply with her many cousins, friends, and family members for hours on end. She always loved to be surrounded by family.
Michelle’s memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched. In our grief we find solace knowing that Michelle's love continues to live on within each one of us.
Services honoring Michelle's life will be held at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street, Corpus Christi on February 6th, 2024, where friends and family will gather to celebrate the beautiful life that she lived.
