Mildred R. "Millie" Green

Mildred Ruth Green, age 67, passed on to be with the Lord in the early morning of April 10, 2017. She was born November 20, 1949 to Leonard and Wava Leivestad in Glendive, Montana, and raised on the family farm. She graduated from Dawson County Highschool in 1968, and went on to study music at Billings Bible College in Montana.

She moved with her sister out to California, where she met, and married, Mr. James (Tom) Green. Soon thereafter, they moved to North Texas where she earned her LVN. She served in a couple hospitals, and worked later in home healthcare. Relocating to San Antonio, they raised two children together, Aaron and Ruth-Anne. Although they separated after 17 years, they continued to work together to see their kids to adulthood.

She is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Wava Leivestad, her older sisters Darlene Johnson and Leona Lynch, as well as her step-parents.

She is survived by her younger brother Dale Leivestad of Baker Montana, and her children Aaron and Ruth-Anne Green, of Corpus Christi, TX.
