Nancy Lou Palmer, 69, of Corpus Christi, Texas, entered into eternal rest on her birthday, December 16, 2024. With a life as vibrant and full as the adventures she loved, Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories.
Born on December 16, 1955, in Victoria, Texas, to her devoted parents, Doy Alfred Moody and Margaret "Peggy" Marie James Moody, Nancy brought warmth and energy to everyone she met.
Nancy’s career spanned 30 years as an Operator at Valero Refinery, but her passions extended far beyond her work. She had a deep love for animals, a lifelong dedication to yoga, and an adventurous spirit that led her to hunt, ride motorcycles, and explore the world. From the serene beaches of Hawaii and Costa Rica to the picturesque landscapes of Ireland and Europe, Nancy made the most of every moment.
As a yoga instructor, she cultivated not only strength and balance but also lasting friendships, often marked by girls' trips, lunches, and heartfelt gatherings. Her generosity was boundless—whether it was her love for family, her care for animals, or her infectious ability to turn any moment into a joyful celebration.
Nancy is reunited in peace with her parents, Doy and Peggy, and her brothers, William “Bill” Doy Moody and Richard Lance Moody. She leaves behind a proud legacy in her son, Russell Mark Palmer, and his wife, Jennifer R. Palmer. Nancy’s spirit lives on in her grandchildren: Dylon Daniel Palmer, Jett Ryan Palmer, Madelyn "Maddie" Kate Stites, Jakes Ryan Stites, and Gavin Burton Stites, who will carry forward her love and laughter.
Nancy will forever be remembered for her kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Her family invites you to join them in celebrating her remarkable life and the memories she leaves behind.
