

Nancy Marie Williams, 82, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024. Born on February 6, 1942, in Montgomery, Texas, Nancy moved to Corpus Christi as a young lady, where she would spend most of her life making a lasting impact on her community.
A beloved mother, grandmother, and community member, Nancy dedicated her life to family and service. Nancy Marie Williams united in marriage with Eddie Ray Williams (Spouse) in 1966 who proceeded in her death September 2004; to this union a daughter was born Sandra L. Williams Charles. She was a dedicated worker in the food service department at Corpus Christi Independent School District, Nancy devoted 50 years of her life to food service, ensuring generations of students were nourished and cared for. A faithful member of St. John Baptist Church, Nancy was known for her strong faith, compassionate spirit, and unwavering commitment to serving others. Her love for her community extended far beyond her professional career.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Sandra L. Williams Charles; stepson, Allen E. Williams (Allen E Williams Jr. and Shameka Rives); granddaughter, Jazmyn Dorn; cousin, Andrea Brantley-Robinson (Oshay Criss & Rodney Robinson) Corpus Christi, Texas; and a host of cousins in Houston, Texas. She touched countless lives through her dedication, kindness, and loving heart. Nancy will be remembered for her tireless service, warm smile, and the profound impact she made on her family and community.
Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Willie L. Robinson Sr.; mother, Ernestine Elizabeth McDowell Robinson; brothers, Willie L. Robinson Jr., Herman L. Robinson (Linda Robinson- Wife); nephew, Austin Robinson; niece, Krystle Robinson; and a host of aunts and cousins. Nancy will be deeply missed and remembered for her warmth, love, sense of humor, listening ear, words of encouragement, redirection and being a woman of God.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 PM that same afternoon. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 3:00 PM. The family will be holding a Reception Gathering immediately following the burial at St. Johns Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 5445 Greenwood Dr., Corpus Christi, TX.
