Natividad Alvarez Lumbreras passed away on April 22, 2011 at the age of 83, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Jose and Leonor Alvarez on September 8, 1927, in McAllen, Texas. Natividad was a member of the Guadalupañas at Holy Family Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Roberto Rumaldo Lumbreras, Jr..
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Roberto Lumbreras; daughter, Leticia Ann Villarreal; sons: Francisco Antonio Buhidar, Arnold Alvarez, Reynaldo Lumbreras (Crystal), Oscar Lumbreras (Gabi), Debra Lumbreras ('Roberto, Jr.); 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Public visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, April 25, 2011 until 1:00 p.m., at which time the rosary and funeral service will commence at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
