Nicolas Rodriguez, Jr.

Nicolas Rodriguez, Jr. passed away on April 26, 2012. He was born on May 1, 1937 in Taft, Texas to Nicolas Rodriguez, Sr. and Lupe H. Rodriguez. He joined the Air Force in 1956. He was a former employee of HEB and Moody’s Meat Market.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Roberto Rodriguez, his sister Maria Chavez, and a brother Cristobal H. Rodriguez.

He is survived by his children; Rosalinda Rodriguez, Roseann (Cutberto) Rodriguez and son Rodolfo Rene (Jerry) Rodriguez, his siblings; Lupe (Hank) Mershan, Luz (Gilberto) Leal, Cuca (Jose) Gaona, Margarito (Andrea) Rodriguez, Gilberto (Teresa) Rodriguez, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 540 Hiawatha Street.

Pallbearers will be, Rodolfo Rodriguez, David Gaona, Jesse Rodriguez, David Salinas, Margarito Rodriguez and Ramiro Chavez.

Interment will follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Interstate 37, Corpus Christi, Texas.
