Nilda Moya Garcia

May 26, 1956 – September 9, 2021

Nilda Moya Garcia passed away September 9, 2021; she fought a 22 year battle with cancer. She was the most giving and caring person you could ever meet, who also ha a heart of gold.

Nilda worked for Driscoll Children's Hospital for the last 23 years.

Preceded in death by her parents; Joe Moya Sr. and Pilar O. Moya; and brother, Danny Moya.

She is survived by her husband; Arturo Garcia; sons, Arturo Garcia Jr, and Joshua (Caroline) Garcia; grandchildren; Joshua Jr., Julian, and Jazelle Garcia; siblings; David, Joe Jr., Heron Moya, Norma M. Cantu, Noemie M. Velasquez; and Noelia M. Guerrero; along with 20 nieces and nephews and 1 great grand nephew.

She was the best aunt in the world. Very kind, giving, sweet and everyone loved her humor. Everyone helped in some way while battling cancer. She was a faithful servant to the Lord to the end, and she never gave up.

Services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 with a visitation to start at 12:00 pm, rosary at 1:30 pm, and a service to follow at 2:00 pm. A committal service will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
