She was born on October 12, 1926 in Italy to the late Giacomo and Marcelina Guaiumi.
Orismes passion was Las Vegas and La Coushatta in Louisiana. She also loved to go back to visit Italy.
Orisme is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Melquiades Peña and one brother, Guillermo Peña.
She leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, three daughters, Angiolina (Eduardo) Guzman, Yvonne (Carlos) Niño and Oris (Jorge) Rodriguez; three sons, Mike Peña, Jack (Gloria) Peña and Joe (Matilde) Peña; 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Our lady of Pilar Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
