

He was born on August 29, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Andres and Altagracia Rodriguez.
Ozzy worked for CCAD since 1983, and was a member of the A.F.G.E. Local Union #2142. He loved music and played bass in a band when he was younger. He also served his country in the United States Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, Mike and Lupita Carranco; one brother, Johnny Rodriguez and one of his beloved pets, Candy
Ozzy leaves behind his family to cherish his memories; his high school sweetheart Gracie Rodriguez; daughter, Jessica (Javier) Rodriguez De Ases; four grandchildren who affectionately called him Popo, Jerika De Anda, Jazz De Anda, Andrew De Ases “The Dude”, and Jayden De Ases “Little Dude”; siblings, Pat Linan (Lionel), Andy Mata, Joe Rodriguez (Sophie “his angel”), Gilbert Rodriguez (Yolanda) and George Oresco (Becky); nephew and godson, Robert Oresco “Bobby in the box”; niece and goddaughter, Patty Linan; brother-in-law, Mike Carranco(Delia); numerous nieces and nephews. And his beloved pets, Cotton and Junior.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Services will conclude in chapel.
