Pablo M. Guzman

He is preceded in death by his parents, Doroteo and Manuela Guzman; his loving wife of over 50 years, Maria V. Guzman; brother, Domingo Guzman; sisters, Mary Morales and Lupe Rodriguez; sons, Benito Guzman, Pablo Guzman, Jr., Richard Guzman; grandson, Bobby Guzman and great-grandson, Joey Contreras.

He is survived by his daughters, Sylvia Vela (Richard Jr.), Felipa Cano, Manuela Perez (Andrez), Diana Espinosa, Rebecca Martinez , Rosalinda Lopez, Rosario Benavides and son, Roberto Guzman (Josie). His survivors include 21 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and sisters, Rosa Alvarez and Cruz Martinez.

Pablo served his country honorably in the United States Army during World War II; he fought in the Battle of The Bulge, Normandy Invasion.

He worked for the City of Corpus Christi Water Department for 28 years.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Coastal Bend Veteran’s Cemetery.
