She was preceded in death by her sisters Crusita H. Ruiz, Sola R. Castillo, Angelita R. Avalos, and Lydia R. Escamilla.
She is survived by her brother Santos Ruiz of Corpus Christi, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park at 12 noon .
