Paula has been a faithful servant of Jehovah since 1954 where she traveled to Monterrey, MX to get baptized since she missed her local convention due to pregnancy. She accompanied her husband Fabian in various assignments including preconvention assignments and serving in Robstown and Alice/San Diego Congregations and most recently in Paraiso Congregation where they made many lifelong friends. Paula easily made friends and will be dearly missed by many. Young and old looked up to her for advice taking into consideration her parental experience and wisdom. When she lived in Petronila, even though she was by herself for many years she would say she was not lonely as many of the friends would stop by throughout the day from near and far. When we would call her, she would ask us to call back as she wanted to visit with her friends. She always made sure to have something to drink and snack for her visitors. When she returned to live in Corpus and was not able to participate in preaching outside her home, she had a little literature stand on her front table to share with her visiting nurses and others to take home. Polin loved many crafts including flower arranging but especially sewing until the last months of her life. Mostly she sewed to make gifts for the friends that would visit her at home and family. She had an outstanding memory and remembered who gave her what and when, and treasured every gift. Jehovah has her in his book of memories now and we look forward to seeing her in paradise through Jehovah’s promise of resurrection (Isa 25:8). In lieu of flowers, donation to JW.org would be appreciated. www.jw.org Zoom Virtual Funeral Service: April 10, 2021 at 5 pm (CST) Meeting ID: 846 7329 6720 Password: silvas (lowercase) Direct Link to Zoom for non laptop users: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84673296720?pwd=UlF2cEVVb1N2K3dIVHRqZDhkRFJlZz09

To Silvas family
We share in the sorrow on the loss of a warm and wonderful Aunt Paula. We loved her so very much. I will miss our chats on the telephone. We look forward to seeing her in paradise, when she answers to the call (Job 14: 15).
This is temporary, she is resting now.
This not goodbye but we will see her in paradise.
Love you all,
Your cousin Gloria and Dad JSSilva

We share in your loss as Tia Paulita held a very special place in our heart. Every visit was priceless from our childhood to our last visit with her. We will miss her calls and cherish every one of her crafts we were blessed to receive from her. Until we meet again Tia, we love you!

Mom, as I left the house that night you said "Mi Hija, am okay, esto bien" you gave me a thumbs up. I truly believe that now you are okay. We were so fortunate that you didn't really suffer and your mind was so intact. I love you and thank you for everything, especially your love and humor. Now you wait for the resurrection, so its not Good-Bye, but see you later.

Although I did not grow up in Corpus , every time we visited she was very hospitable and would always send us with homemade gifts that I still have. She was a women of faith and despite suffering the loss of my uncle , her son, and daughters and others she continue to serve Jehovah to the best of her ability and was a fine example to all who knew her. My last memory is a fond one. I flew to San Antonio and then drove to Corpus to have lunch with her and my aunt Mary.
We had a very nice time and I am glad that I went to see them that day. My sincerest condolences to my cousins and those that knew her in the congregations she attended. We loved her dearly and will miss her but we have comfort that this is but temporary
