Pedro Alonzo Colunga, age 61, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024. He was born on February 20, 1963, in Zacatecas Pinos, Mexico, to Eusebio Colunga & Maria Alonzo Colunga.
Pedro married his wife of 31 years on April 24, 1993. Pedro was employed by Waycoff Company. He was a loving father and brother, and will always be remembered for his devotion to his family and his cats.
Pedro may have looked serious, but he was a clown. He loved to play with his nieces and nephews, and always enjoyed being with his cat, they were inseparable.
Pedro is preceded in death by his father Eusebio Colunga, mother Maria Alonzo Colunga, sister Esperanza Marin, and brother Ruben Colunga.
He is survived by his wife dahlia Treviño Colunga; daughter Dahlia Vanessa Colunga;
Brothers: Aureliano (Rosemary) Colunga, Martin (Rosa) Colunga, Lupe (Amalia) Colunga, Rogelio Colunga, Clemente (Lupe) Colunga, Jose Colunga, Lorenzo (Juana) Colunga; Sisters: Maria Rosario Benavidez, Maria DeRefugio (Vartolo) Esparza, and Manuela Colunga; 47 nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Spohn Shoreline for their care and support and also Aureliano who was a brother to him, brother-in-laws: Jose and Robert for always being there for him.

A visitation for Pedro will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Corpus Christi, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405 with holy rosary and liturgy service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 710 S. 19th St, Corpus Christi, TX 78405 followed by interment at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78408.
