

He served in the U. S. Army from 1959 to 1964. He was an active member of El Divino Salvador Presbyterian Church where he served as a youth group sponsor with his wife and an ordained deacon of the Presbyterian Church (USA). He worked in the produce business all his life starting with his family’s business and retiring from Super S Foods in Taft, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Belem Zapata Oliver and Rafael Flores Oliver Sr.; his sisters, Maria De La Luz Oliver, Aurora Oliver; his brother, Rafael Flores Oliver Jr. and sister-in-law, Esther Oliver.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Oliver; his two daughters, Anne-Marie (Corey) King and Catherine (Tony) Aguero; his five grandchildren, Catarina (Nathan) Smith, Nicholas Oliver Mills, Deanna (Cameron Lozano) Aguero, Ethan Oliver Aguero and Cayden King; two great-granddaughters, Mary Grace Smith, Ava Sky Lozano, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Pallbearers: Nicholas Oliver Mills, Ethan Oliver Aguero, Corey King, Tony Aguero, Nathan Smith and Cameron Lozano.
The family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to our church in memory of Pete Oliver, El Divino Salvador Presbyterian Church P.O. Box 7671, Corpus Christi, TX 78467 or any charity of your choice.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11:00 am with Chapel Service to begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
