Pedro Roel

"Pete" graduated from Pearsall high School in 1968 and shortly after enlisted in the U.S. Army. He married his wife of nine years on June 14, 2014. Pete was self-employed and worked for many years with his own construction company. He was a loving husband, father, and brother.

Pete will be remembered for the love of his community and his heritage. Pete owned a used car dealership called Pete Roel Enterprises and he would have a bicycle giveaway every year during Christmas time. He enjoyed giving back to his community. He appreciated his community so much. Pete always had a job for someone who was willing to work, and was a very kind-hearted man who treated everyone with respect.

Pete is preceded in death by his siblings: Maria Roel Ramirez and Julio Roel.

He is survived by his wife, Nery Roel; children: Rosette Roel, Yvonne Roel, Jon (Lina) Roel, Christopher Roel, Jon Michael Roel, Emanuel Lopez, and Aimee Roel; grandchildren: Savannah Roel, Hunter Roel, JonPedro Roel, Benjamin Roel, Pablo Roel, and Isabelle Roel; also four Great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 7, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Cristo Rey De Gloria, 3126 Gollihar Road, Corpus Christi, TX with Interment at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St., Corpus Christi, Texas.
