She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesus S. Mejia and aunt, Marcelina Sandoval.

Survivors include her daughter, Juanita (Late Raul) Gonzales; son, Ernesto Jesus (Manuela) Mejia; brothers, Frank (Angela) Sandoval from New Braunfels, Jose Pedro (Maria del Refugio) Sandoval from Monclova, Coahuila, MX, Miguel (Lydia) Sandoval from La Grange, TX; brother in law, Alejandro Mejia and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Nuesta Señora de San Juan de Los Lagos, Madre de La Iglesia located at 1755 Frio St. Corpus Christi, Texas 78417. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
