He was born in Ciudad Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Phillip graduated from Mary Carroll High School.
He was a member of Mary Mother of the church now known as Nuestra Senora de San Juan de los Lagos.
Phillip helped his parents build the family businesses: L&A Paving Co., Inc. and Flato Mini-Storage. Phillip had a very strong work ethic.
He had a passion for fishing, dancing, collecting baseball caps and was an avid Cowboy fan.
Phillip is our angel. He will forever be in our hearts. May he rest in Christ and in our Blessed Mothers’ arms.
He is survived by his mother, Adela G. Balderas; sisters, Adela Garcia (Jesse Ruiz), Edith Balderas, Maria Balderas (Juan Basurto)), and Lydia Sanchez (Ralph Sanchez). Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
A visitation for Phillip will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415. A rosary and liturgy will occur Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM, 3442 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415. A burial will follow Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
