Plutarco Ramirez Jr. was born on 10/10/34. He passed away on July 24, 2020. He was married to Esther Ramirez for 62 years. Plutarco was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, father in law and just an all around great “dude”. In his last moments he wanted to make sure his wife was taken care of. He loved the Lord with all his heart, soul and mind. He looked forward to telling stories of days of old and many memories he had of his childhood. He loved life and most of all his God. He had such a kind heart and a constant smile on his face. Plutarco never met a stranger. Our dad fought the good fight. Well done thy good and faithful servant. He is preceded in death by his parents, Plutarco Sr. and Isabel Ramirez, numerous brothers and sisters. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Esther; one sister, Oralia Ramirez; four children, Elizabeth (Ruben) Garcia, Marcial (Deanna) Ramirez, Sylvia (Scott) Carlson, and Samuel Ramirez; 12 grandkids and 30 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St., on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. To offer condolences please visit us at www.funerariadelangelcheyenne.com or Facebook page, Funeraria del Angel Cheyenne.

Daddy, We will miss you and your prayers. You were a great dad and faithful example of a godly man!! Loved that your prayers because they were so faith filled and worded ...” I present my.... daughter, wife, son whomever he was praying for into the throne room and ask for healing, ect,” I am forever grateful that you waited for me to say my goodbyes!! Love your Peewee

Grandpa, you will be greatly missed. I will never forget all the stories of the past, all the “ Sana Sana Colita de Rana’s” that made us feel better when we were kids and your big smile. You were a wonderful grandfather to us and loving to everyone. I know one day we will see you again in heaven.

Grandpa was the kindest most funniest guy in our family. I'll never forget the stories of King Ranch and the "inheritance" that was coming to us. Grandpa was always fun loving and full of life. I can't recall him EVER speaking ill of another person. I'll miss the times of hunting for "gold" with his metal detector and going for long walks. Grandpa, you were truly unique and we will miss you but we are rejoicing that you are finally walking in glory with the Lord who you served faithfully. Love you Grandpa.

We are going to miss you Grandpa. I will always have good memories of you. You had such a kind spirit. I’ll always remember those stories you would tell us all the time. Also, how you would travel “lightly” with your H-E-B bag. Lol.

Plutarco Ramirez was one of the kindest and sweetest man that I have known. He would always had the funniest saying and He had a sweet tooth like you would not believe. He loved the Lord with all his heart and raised his children to put God first. He was truly loved by everyone he met because of his kindness. We will all miss you, but know that will meet again,

We are going to miss you daddy. Thank you for being a good father and teaching us to love Jesus no matter what. Thanks for being a hard working man for your family. You were right in a lot of ways. I know you were a simple man who did not get much of an education but you were a wise man. I love that in your prayers you always blessed the nation of Israel (in spanish). When I was young I couldn't understand why but now as a grown woman of faith I do. Genesis 12: 3. "I will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel". Daddy was blessed and knew it despite the challenges he faced. We will see you one day walking the streets of gold in your perfect body.

Thank you for sharing your husband and father with the care providers at Christus Spohn Hospice. He always had a big smile on his face and his kindness radiated even when he couldn't verbalize. It was our privilege to care for him. God bless you and all your family.
