Polly Lopez

Polly worked for Luby’s Cafeteria for 35 years. She liked cross stitching, playing bingo, watching novelas and spoiling all of her kids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tomasa and Jose M. Lopez; her sisters, Lucille Aleman and Mary Van Brunt; and her brother, Jesse Lopez; her nephews, Trice Leroy Jordan; great nephew, Christopher Robin and Trice Leroy Jordan, Jr.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, A. Joyce Lopez, Joe M. Lopez, Linda Bell, Dolores Hollingsworth, Sandra Ponce, Nelda Fling, Raymond Aleman, Jimmy Van Brunt, Harry Van Brunt, Linda Lopez and Sharon Nile; she also leaves behind to cherish her memories; her 9 great nieces, 10 great nephews, and numerous great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Along with many other beloved friends’ whose children were also considered her children.

She was known as “Tia Polly” to all who loved her and knew her.

Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel -549 Cheyenne with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel-549 Cheyenne with a burial to follow at Rose Hill memorial Park.
