POMPOSA ALANIS, 82 OF 2744 DEER STREET,CORPUS CHRISTI TEXAS passed away on November 12, 2017. She was born in Goliad, Texas on September 19, 1935, and was married to Fred Alanis for 41 years. Pomposa worked as a waitress and cook for many years in the food industries, and owned her own restaurant at one point. Pomposa is survived by her children: Tony (Rosario) Garcia, Luis Garcia, Diana (Michael), May, Ida Sanchez, Norma (Jose) Garcia, Roland (Linda) Alanis. Numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as Great, Great grandchildren. One brother, Ruben (Diana) Guerrero. Visitation will be on Friday, November 17, 2017 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. with prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Service is scheduled to be a chapel service at Funeraria Del Angel Cheyenne on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. where services will conclude.
