Ponciano was a longtime resident of the Molina neighborhood in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he built a lifetime of memories surrounded by family, friends, and the community he called home.
Growing up, Ponciano and his family worked as migrant farmworkers, spending their summers in Colorado working in the fields. Those summers became cherished memories for the entire family, filled with hard work, togetherness, and moments they would carry with them for a lifetime. Ponciano later worked in the mechanic field alongside his longtime friend, continuing to build lasting relationships throughout his life.
Ponciano will always be remembered for his unforgettable smile, his funny personality, and the joy he brought to those around him. He had a way of making people smile and creating memories that will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. Though his time with us has come to an end, the love, laughter, and memories he leaves behind will never be forgotten.
Ponciano is now reunited in eternal rest with his beloved parents, Francisco and Juanita Villarreal; his brothers, Daniel, Francisco, and Alberto Villarreal; and his sisters, Manuela Montoya and Virginia Munoz
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sisters, Sanjuanita “Janie” Villarreal, Minerva Silva, and Margie Gonzalez; his brothers, Jorge Villarreal, Gilberto (Rosa) Villarreal, and David (Sylvia) Villarreal; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold him close to their hearts.
The Villarreal family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and nursing assistants at Windsor Nursing Facility for the kindness, compassion, and care they provided to Ponciano. Your dedication and support during his time there will always be appreciated.
Though our hearts are broken by your passing, we find comfort knowing you are reunited with loved ones who went before you. Your smile, laughter, and unforgettable personality will live on in the memories we hold dear.
You will be missed dearly, brother. Rest peacefully, Belly. Until we meet again.
