

On a happy winter morning, January 28, 1933, Raymond Franklin Harding was born to Lillie Mae and Harvey G. Harding in Refugio, Texas. His family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, and it was here that he lived his life to the fullest. He served his country for three years in the United States Army. He worked for Reynolds Sherwin Plant for thirty-two years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but also a 'fisher of men' for Jesus. A strong and devout Christian man who loved our Lord Jesus Christ and loved going to his church at Brighton Baptist Church.
The morning of August 26, 2011, he went home to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ, his 'Hero'.
His survivors include his beloved wife of fifty-eight years, Rosettie Harding; his three daughters, Deborah Pitman (Randy), Rita Bower (Jeff), and Rae Harding Cardinale, He has five grandchildren, Andrea, Laura, Philip, Brigett, and Ross; five great grandchildren, Ocean, Oliver, Sofia, Alina, and Jaxon. He is also survived by his sister, Dolly Bailey; three brothers, T.H. Harding, John Harding, and a brother, Chris Harding who has also gone to be with our Lord Jesus. He is survived by a nephew, Butch Bailey whom he loved dearly like a brother and son. His kitty, Sissy loved him so much! Raymond was a well loved individual by everyone.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors, 4901 Everhart Road. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Brighton Park Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cleveland, Texas.
