He leaves behind many precious and wonderful memories to be cherished by his wife, Denise Martinez Vela; daughters, Valerie (Brandon Templeman) Vela and Kristen Vela; mother, Armandina Vela; sisters, Leticia (Ronald) Donahue, Levina (Clarence) Stephenson, Graciela Vela, Imelda Vela and Melinda Vela; granddaughters, Jade Autumn and Scarlet Winter all from Corpus Christi, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be from 5:00 till 9:00 with a Holy rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Holly 3442 Holly Rd.
Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 5830 Williams Dr.
Interment will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery 2731 Comanche St.
