She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio O. Mata, and her 2 sons, Paul C. Armadillo and Steve Mata.
She is survived by her children: Jo Lopez, Grace A Barrientos (Wally), Elizabeth Armadillo, Janelle Mata, Christene Trejo (Joe), John A Mata (Melissa) and Aaron Mata (Christy). She also leaves behind to cherish her memories 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 8 sisters and brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel with a Prayer Service to follow at 5:00 pm. A Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
