He was born in Waelder, Texas on January 6, 1928.
He was married to Elvia Adolfina Garcia Castillo on July 21, 1973.
He was a member of the Swordsmen Club and the Sertoma Noon Club of Corpus Christi and a Korean War Era veteran.
He was survived by his wife of 46 years, five children, ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 11:00 am on Monday, October 14, 2019 with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank so many personal and work related friends for their showers of support during this difficult time. Prayers, meals, plants and flowers, and outpouring of love is forever treasured.
The care given at Alameda Oaks Nursing Home and from Altus Hospice, Dr. Christopher Brehm and Julie Davidson, from Urology Associates are greatly appreciated.
