

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 26, 1947 to his parents Bernardo Garza & Margarita Leal.
He is survived by his wife Blanca L. Garza and his children Cesar Montoya, twin daughters; Brenda & Veronica Garza, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His children from his first marriage Rosa Maria Garza, Reynaldo Garza Jr., Adam Garza, Benny John Garza, Johnny Ray Garza, 25 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
He has joined his sibling in heaven: Guillermo, Frank and Lupita Garza and Carlos Bonilla. His sister and brothers; Isabel Alaniz, Susie Alaniz, Amanda Orona from Corpus Christi TX. Nieces and Nephews; Maria Vega, Rosalind Rosalez, Jimmy Rosalez and Reynaldo Alaniz Rosalez from Texas, his sister Irma Leal from Texas, Ida Canales from GA and brother, Michael Leal from Austin, Texas.
"Rey" was drafted to Vietnam in 1969, where he served proudly in the US Army from 1969 to 1971 in the Vietnam War, as a SPC4 in 1st Calvary Division. He lived the remainder of his life with his siblings in Corpus Christi, TX, where he will be laid to rest.
He will be remembered mostly for his sense of humor and laughter.

Visitation for Reynaldo will be held Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405 with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening.
Communion Service will be celebrated on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 540 Hiawatha St, Corpus Christi with Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37, Corpus Christi.
