Richard attended Calallen High School and then joined the Air Force, where he served from 1965 – 1969 as a driver for the Colonel and a bus driver for all the children who lived on base. He married Patricia E. Wentz on February 28, 1981, and was a dedicated loving husband. Richard retired from Southwestern Bell, now ATT, after 30 plus years of service. He was a member of St. Helena of the True Cross of Jesus where he served as an usher. Richard had a passion and love for God and his faith helped get him through many rough times. His hobbies included woodworking, plexiglass creations, watching wrestling and the FOOD network.
