Richard W. Miller, Sr., 83, passed away on March 15, 2014 from multiple ailments. He was born on December 31, 1930 to the late Joseph Mayes and Dorothy Miller. He grew up in Runge, TX during his early teenage years and lived the rest of his adult life in the Annaville area. Richard, aka: "Dick" by most friends, was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a Korean War Veteran, enjoyed a passion for hunting, fishing and being a Dallas Cowboys fan.
Richard is preceded in death by his wife Helen Lee of 52 years, his parents, sister Jo Anne, grandsons Bryan Lee Miller and Jimmy Joe Huckman Jr.
He leaves behind five children, Mary Helen (Jimmy J. Huckman Sr.), Tommy Lee Miller (Teresa), Richard Wayne Miller, Jr. (Michelle), Dorothy Jo (Johnny C. Holloway, Jr.) and Nancy Ann (Larry D. Brown); 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at Memory Gardens Cemetery on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
