Richard Salinas Perez

Richard was a very caring man who held great love for his family and friends and greatly enjoyed spending time with them. He was also a very hard worker. Richard retired from the Oil and Gas Industry as a truck driver, where he had a career that spanned over 25 years. He was a cattle rancher as well, with a family ranch in Beeville. He loved to hunt and was an avid Texas Rangers fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo and Isabel Perez; his loving wife of over 30 years, Alice Perez; and brothers, Armando Perez, Israel Perez, and Isaac Perez.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Hector (Irma) Perez, Richard (Brin) Perez, and Roy Perez; Brother, Baldemar (Dianna) Perez; sister, Olga (Juan) Barrera; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A public visitation for Richard will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415 with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Monday, July 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. An interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
