Richard Ronald Reed, 68, passed away October 2, 2011 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born June 30, 1943 to George G. Reed and Alice Marie Webb Reed in Alice, Texas. He proudly served his country and retired from the U. S. Air Force after 24 years of service and dedication.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Marie Reed. Richard is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lita Reed of Corpus Christi, Texas; two sons, Wes (Stacy) Reed of Corpus Christi, Texas and Rey (Joy) Infante of Columbia, South Carolina; daughter, Lisa (Trevor) Robinson of Corpus Christi, Texas; father, George (Joy) G. Reed of Alice, Texas; five grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, October 7, 2011 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors Chapel. Services will conclude at the Chapel.
