Rickey Wayne Pritchard

Rickey Wayne Pritchard, age 72, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026. He was born on January 26, 1954, in Longmont, Colorado, to Perry Eugene Pritchard and Bobbie Marlene Pritchard.

Rickey graduated from Boulder High School in 1971. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1975 to 1985 as a Precision Electronics Technician. Following his military service, Rickey continued his career in electronics with Honeywell Aerospace, where he worked until his retirement in 2013.

Rickey had many interests and talents throughout his life. He was an avid gamer, enjoyed Frank Sinatra and jazz music, and had a lifelong passion for electronics. He was fascinated by computers and even built his very first computer himself. He also had a strong interest in firearms and enjoyed learning about and working with technology.

Most of all, Rickey loved spending time with his family. He was always willing to try new things and experience life, although there were a few things he could do without, including cruises, coconut, and tuna casserole. His sense of humor, unique personality, and willingness to explore his many interests will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Rickey married Sharon Lynn Fink on August 26, 1992, in Boulder, Colorado. Together, they shared many years of love, family, and memories.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Marlene Pritchard; his sister, Diana Pritchard Finn; and his brother, Patrick Pritchard.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Sharon Lynn Pritchard; his sons, Bryan Pritchard (Sharon), Brandon Pritchard, and Brent Pritchard (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Brayann Pritchard Newsome and David Pritchard.

Rickey will be remembered for his intelligence, curiosity, sense of humor, love of family, and the many interests that made him uniquely himself. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
