Rito was employed as a chef at Price’s Chef Restaurant. He had a passion for fishing, cooking and making people laugh.
Rito was preceded in death by his parents Gregorio and Tomasa Garcia, daughter; Sylvia, brother; Ramon, sisters; Ernestina and Evangelina.
Rito is survived by his children; Margaret (Ray), Christopher (Linda), Edward (Shannon) Carolyne (Joseph), Rosemary (Mingo), John Gomez, brothers; Rogelio, Ricardo, sisters; Rosario and Felicita, grandchildren; Corrina, Alaric, Jacqueline, Seth, Domingo IV, Samantha, and Maricela (“Aye”) and his former wife Cesaria U. Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April, 6 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
