Robert L. Sandoval, 92, passed away February 29, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Yoakum, Texas to Jesus V. Sandoval and Ursula Lerma Sandoval. He enlisted in the United States Navy during World War II and honorably served from 1942 to 1946. Following his service in the Navy he lived in Corpus Christi, Texas where he worked as an aircraft mechanic at CCAD until retiring.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Maryscella C. Sandoval; Four daughters; Lluviscela (Keith) Pierce, Rhoda (Rick) Mountfield, Elizabeth Kane and Rhonda (Lee) Floyd and Five Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until Funeral Services begin at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2016 in the Chapel at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
