

Robert A. Hinojosa passed away on June 22, 2012. He was born February 29, 1932 to Rufino and Mary Hinojosa in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mr. Hinojosa was a Veteran of the Korean War; he was a Merchant Marine and worked for a lifetime as a roofer. Roberto Antonio Hinojosa (Blue) is survived by his children Guadalupe (Florentino) Falcon, Rudy (Margaret) Hinojosa, 17 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. His children from the late Rosa Hinojosa: Lucy (Nelson) Sosa, Rosemary Hinojosa and Mary (Benjamar) Rios, 8 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Mr. Reynulfo C. Hinojosa, Mr. Rudy Hinojosa and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by Rosa Hinojosa and his first born son Roberto Hinojosa Jr. Whether you knew him as a father, grandfather, uncle, brother or friend, you will also know how to appreciate the wonderful man we all knew and loved. Blue was a good man, a loving father and grandfather who was very humorous, always finding a way to make everyone laugh and often brought a smile to our face. He was one of a kind. Throughout the years each one of us has collected these special memories which we will keep deep in our hearts to always remember him. Special thanks to all the staff at Wooldridge Place Nursing Home for the great care they provided. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Funeraria del Angel- 549 Cheyenne with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
