Rogelio De La Garza “El Rey de los Flea Markets” passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Texas after a short illness. He was born September 25, 1918 in Donna, Texas to the late Arturo and Laurentina De La Garza.
He was WWII veteran.
Rogelio was survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Matilde De La Garza; children, Rogelio De La Garza, Jr., Richard De La Garza and Rebecca Rutledge; nephew, Ruben Martinez and granddaughter, Diamond Castillo.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
